The farm has an animal stock of about 15,000 hogs and 400,000 layer, producing not less than 0.5 million table eggs per day destined for Cebu and Mindanao. Conscious about its carbon foot print, the entity has, since its inception in 2010, heavily been investing in bio digesters to reduces its energy consumption. The business has however outgrown its own energy supply, due to continuous demand for its products, and hopes to reach its carbon neutrality goals with the help of solar power.

A region known for its famous islands such as Boracay, previously nominated as top tourist island in the world. With such appeal for tourists, it shouldn’t come as a surprise the region receives plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The project will help reduce the electricity cost of farm by 25% by making it less dependent on the grid system of the island. As such allowing it provide more affordable products to the region. The project is expected to produce more than 9000 MWh of carbon free electricity over the time of the lease, saving about 6,300 tons of Co2 along the way.
